The winners of the CTAA annual awards were recognized at the Robert Noble Awards Luncheon on the last day of the conference, Wednesday, November 27, 2019.
N.W. Mcleod Award for best paper presentation at the 2018 conference, as voted by conference attendees, to Ania Anthony and Chris Dechkoff for their joint presentation of the paper ‘Characterizing Bond Strength Behaviour of Tack Coat Materials in Saskatchewan Climate‘, presented by President René Dufresne.

Earl Kee Award for the best presentation for a first-time presenter at a CTAA conference, Martin Jasso for his presentation of the paper ‘The Effect of High Stress on Asphalt Binders and Hot Mix Asphalt‘, presented by President René Dufresne.

The Elaine Thompson Editors Award for best-written paper as selected by the Association’s editor, Olivier Sylvestre and Martin Lavoie for their paper ‘Longitudinal Top-Down Cracking – Asphalt Overlays Case Study‘, presented by President René Dufresne and Editor, Stephen Goodman.
