The Canadian Technical Asphalt Association (CTAA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Brent Marjerison to the Board of Directors, representing the Prairies and Territories.

Brent has been a CTAA member for 18 years and has twice served on Local Arrangements Committees for Saskatchewan-hosted conferences. He is a Principal Geotechnical/Materials Engineer, with Clifton Engineering in Saskatoon. To this role, he brings over 35 years of experience in the public and private sectors, as well as with a major contractor in road and infrastructure construction. Brent holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Geotechnical and Pavement Engineering. He has previously served as a sessional lecturer with the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Civil and Geological Engineering and in 2011 he received the Certificate of Fellowship from Engineers Canada for contributions the engineering profession.

In joining the CTAA Board, Brent expressed a commitment to contributing his experience to the advancement of the industry, while gaining new perspectives and expanding his network. He looks forward to supporting CTAA’s mission of disseminating knowledge on asphalt technology through communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
