Involvement with CTAA (Membership and Related Activities): A member since 2015 and having served on the Local Arrangements Committee for the Regina conference served two consecutive terms and the Prairies and Territories Director. Most notably in my Director role I have been primarily responsible for chairing the membership committee to which I have initiated activities such as:
- Enhanced social media presence which has increased our online presence by about 20% year over year
- Creation of the first Membership Committee Strategic Plan
Why I Want to Serve on the CTAA Board: My role now with the City of Regina focuses more on people leadership, strategic direction and planning, enhancing our levels of service and expanding our programs by finding efficiencies in our work process’. My skills that I use at the City of Regina would directly help the CTAA expand, grow, and stay relevant to the industry and our membership demographics. I am always eager to help and volunteer where I feel like I can contribute to the CTAA in transfer of knowledge, and continue our networking of industry professionals.
