2018 Appreciation Awards

Posted by Shara - January 4, 2019 - Uncategorized

The Robert Noble Awards Luncheon was the opportunity to show our appreciation to individuals for service to the Association.

Hugh Donovan was recognized with a certificate of appreciation as he leaves the board of Directors after 9 years of service.  Four years as the Alberta director and 5 years as he progressed through the executive positions.

Jason Herring was recognized with a certificate of appreciation as he leaves the Board of Directors after 4 years of service as the BC Director.

Nabil Kamel was recognized with a plaque of appreciation following his term as President.  He was also presented with the coveted past-presidents pin.  Nabil will serve on the board for a further two years.

Chris Dechkoff was recognized with a certificate of appreciation for his recent term chairing the CUPGA organizing committee.

Ania Anthony was recognized with a certificate of appreciation for her recent role as Local Arrangement Chair for the 2018 Regina conference.  Ania has previously served the Association as a director, President, and member of the executive.  This certificate is perhaps the hardest earned of the Association’s recognition as it represents two years of work, along with the entire Local Arrangements Committee, to present a conference that is well organized and enjoyable for all.
