The 68th annual conference was held in Charlottetown PEI. The conference was a successful exchange of technical information, which also showcased a student poster session and discussions on workplace diversity.
The conference was held over 4 days, Nov 19-22 and attended by 230 delegates. In addition to the technical exchange, delegates were treated to a wonderful eastern experience and enjoyed much nicer weather than had befallen us the previous year.

The Canadian Technical Asphalt Association is proud to offer three scholarships for students pursuing careers in Asphalt technology. Application information were sent to over 50 universities and colleges in the Spring of 2023. Twenty-five applicants were received. Information regarding our scholarships, eligibility and the application process can be viewed on our website. Members are asked to pass this information on to students they know or meet who are studying asphalt technology at the graduate, undergraduate or college level.
For the 2023 Scholarship, the deadline this year was moved to early September to allow for students returning to classes to be more aware of the availability of the scholarships. This year 25 candidates competed for the three available scholarships. The winners all provided a brief statement of the impact the scholarship will have as they continue their studies.
