Active
members – just login to the members area and click on the Kelowna 2022 graphic to start your registration.
Lapsed Members – login to the members area to renew your membership and then register at the member rate. (Note – lapsed members will automatically be directed to renew their membership before having access to
the members area of the website. If you would prefer to register as a non-member (same total cost) then contact
chuck@ctaa.ca to reset your membership so you can log into the non-members area. Also – if you are locked out with a ’token expired’ error, contact the office.
Archived Members (you haven’t paid dues since at least 2020) can still log in at the members area to be directed to the non-members area and the registration links.

Conference Course: Asphalt Emulsion Technology

Course fee of $65.00 (early-bird) is in addition to Conference Registration, includes coffee break before session starts.
Course Presenter:
Brett Lamden, Technical Services and Innovation Manager - Asphalt & Industrial Products, Cenovus Energy
This course is targeted at individuals who specify, use, or test emulsified asphalts and wish to have a better understanding of these materials.
The first part of the workshop will cover basic emulsion theory as well as the terminology, testing, and handling of emulsified asphalts commonly used in the road construction and maintenance
industry.
An overview of construction and maintenance practices employing emulsified asphalts will also be presented.

For just the second time, a student poster competition will be held at the Conference. Undergrads and graduate students will present their work related to asphalt materials to the delegates. There
will be a poster session on Monday afternoon right after the podium presentation and before the Young member reception, but the posters will remain available for the entire conference. If you are a student, or if you know a student who wants to share his work,

The Canadian Technical Asphalt Association invites paper proposals (Abstracts) for the 2023 CTAA Annual Conference.
|
|
|
|
The Association will be utilizing a conference App again at the 2022 conference.
On your phone or tablet (or even PC) the App can be accessed by registered delegates from the
Conference App website.
Each attendee must then sign in using the email address provided when registering for the conference and create their own password. If you were on the
App last year the system will remember your prior password. But since you may not remember, you can select 'Forgot password' to use the link to set a new one.
(Once logged into a device you will not need to provide all this information again).
Please update your personal profile by adding in your work affiliation, and even your photo!
When adding your photo, be sure to expand the crop box to include the portion of the photo you want to show.

Two Canadian Technical Asphalt Association scholarships were awarded again this year under the categories of Undergraduate and Graduate. The awards are each for $2,000 and are intended to assist
those individuals pursuing studies in asphalt technology.
