Undergraduate Scholarship Winner
University of New Brunswick
“I am thankful to be the recipient of the 2020 CTAA Undergraduate Scholarship. It will help significantly with my tuition as I will be completing the last year of my Civil Engineering Degree at the University of New Brunswick (UNB). I have had an interest in studying asphalt ever since my work terms with SNC-Lavalin Brun-Way Highway Operations and from studying the Dynamic Modulus of asphalt samples in a special studies course. This scholarship provides encouragement as I plan to study the use of recycled plastics in asphalt mixes for a Research Thesis and to transition towards an Accelerated Masters at UNB.”

“I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to CTAA for awarding me with the graduate scholarship. I was thrilled to learn of my selection for this honor and I am deeply appreciative of your support. This scholarship will help me to focus more on my research plan, which is mainly related to the reinforcement of bituminous layers with geosynthetic materials. This wonderful generosity on your part will also help my educational dreams to come true and will play a key role in shaping me into a successful person in the future. I will do my very best at all times and prove to you that I am a worthy investment.”
